Margot Looney is a genre-bending dream pop/indie electronic duo based in Denver, CO. Minimalist piano, jazzy Rhodes and sparkly synths blend with eclectic rhythms and Ableton loops. Imagine Beach House + Portishead, fronted by Neko Case and you’ve got Margot Looney.

Frontwoman Meaghan Lillis’s cleverly confessional lyrics are paired with dynamic vocals and expressive keys that showcase her classical piano and vocal training. Drummer Ryan Deeter’s seasoned jazz chops and synth loops add intricate soundscapes and electic rhythms. Both musicians bring decades of performance skills, from Denver to Brooklyn and beyond, to their live shows.
